If you're looking for a serious airsoft gun, the Sidewinder airsoft gun is probably your best bet. This incredible gun is fully automatic, and has the amazing ability to fire 90 rounds per second. That is practically unimaginable to the human mind, and adds up to a total of 5400 rounds per minute. Because most people don't need that kind of firing capacity, this gun does allow you to fire 3 to 10 rounds per second by squeezing the trigger in a controlled way. The magazine can hold 1600 rounds which are simply poured in. This gun uses 6mm pellets but can also accommodate 6 mm paintballs also.

The Sidewinder is powered by CO2 and uses a tank which is positioned into the front handle. The stainless steel barrel offers gentle hop up action, while the mechanisms of this gun never need lubrication or maintenance. Because this gun is CO2 powered there are no springs or electronics required. The price for such a piece is approximately $1500, which may seem like a lot. While this certainly is a lot of money, it's substantially cheaper than what a gun of this magnitude used to cost. Not only that, but for the serious airsoft enthusiast an incredible piece like this one is worth every penny.
